It’s like they’re following the story line you created: They signed up for emails on your website, loved your email funnel and now they clicked (YES!) on the big sell at the end of the email funnel.

You got yourself a white hot sale! Just think what you’ll do with that cash once they input their credit card information and hit “Buy!”

It’s the best: Excited customers buying your product or booking your services. What could be better? You’re well on your way to 7-figure—

Wait. They clicked out of the sales page. They went in, saw it and then left, never to return. Your white hot sale went ice cold in seconds. You’ve lost the sale. You lose this one and the next one and all the others that came in today.

What’s going on?!

7 Reasons Your Sales Page Ain’t Selling

Sales pages are your “last ditch effort.” The copy on your sales pages has a direct effect on making the sale or breaking it.

1 - It’s Too Short

This is the time to lay it all out on the table. People need lots of information to pull that plastic out of their wallets. Tell them everything they need to hear (without making false claims) to buy that product or book your services.

2 - You’re Not Speaking to Them

Target audience, target audience, TARGET AUDIENCE. Speak to them and no one else. In fact, if you’re hoping to sell your product to everyone, you’re doing it wrong.

3 - It’s Not Easy to Read

Are those… paragraphs? If your sales page copy isn’t easy to skim and eye-catching, your customers are not going to take the time to read any of it. Keep it fresh with color, checklists, bullet points and highlights.

4 - They’re Not Convinced

Persuade them. After all, it’s a sales page. Make it clear to them that this product or service is going to change their life. Give ‘em that “What’s in it for me?” explanation.

5 - It Lacks Value

Value and price are not the same. The value is everything that it’s worth. The price is what you’re going to charge them (and those should not be the same number). Lay it out so your customers know this is a great deal.

6 - They Have Objections

Even the smallest purchase can put up a wall of resistance to buying it. Your customers undoubtedly will do everything they can talk themselves out of a sale. This is a natural human behavior, so make sure you address it.

7 - They Don’t Totally Trust You (Your Brand)

People want to feel like they can relate to you. They want to trust you and are comforted by your face, your name and your story. So, be sure to talk about yourself. (But, don’t just put BS in your “About” section!)

Sales Pages Aren't the Place to Fool Around

Don’t lose sales because your sales page is unprofessional and subpar. Out of all the DIY marketing you may attempt, hire a professional copywriter for your sales page.
